One of the most central of the pantheon of cycling films - perhaps my favorite.

Lots of road rage during the past couple of weeks. Four episodes of aggression and then a driver talking on her phone and pulling out into my line at the last moment. This is very unusual for our area, southeast of Columbus.
Try to be courteous and friendly to the "cagers". Any disrespect on our part gets passed along to the next cyclist they encounter. And physics, being what it is, we're always on the losing end.

We live in rural Oklahoma. I give a friendly wave to every oncoming car. I do the same as I see a car coming up behind me. Our group always rides in a compact single file line to encourage cars to pass us. There is a group in a neighboring town I sometimes ride with. I don't like it, but some of their riders think its best to ride two abreast and claim the whole lane. I don't like it.

Novel approach to preventing pressure on the perineum and perineal nerves. Turning the saddle backwards turns it into a nose-less saddle.

Once the wheels start rolling, the road decides when the ride ends.

The La Vuelta ended early today with the pro-Hamas violence stopping the last ceremonial stage just before the sprint. Lt. Napoleon would have resolved this with a "whiff of grape."

Haven't finished watching the highlights yet, but stage 19 was great. Half the planned distance though due to the protesters.

This cruise ship is small enough to dock. Most of the time we see them anchored off shore and tenders bring the passengers in.


When supplies are brought to the island, the delivery truck is put on a barge. Horse drawn wagons take the supplies from there.
