JJ's certainly an influence around here. I soooo read that one wrong to start with.

Nice catch, Tim. I missed it.
Of course, Doug would never do such a thing.

Who says you can only have one? I might have a friend that had his first at 40 when he got a divorce, had carnal knowledge of several coworkers, got a DL suspension notice 3 times in 2 years (none stuck), got fired from his job(might have had something to do with the coworker thing), and wrecked a Ferrari. Twice. After now having lived life back in his proper lane for 20 years, this friend of mine is planning his next crisis for 65 years old (5 years hence) but I have it on good authority that this one will be less about the women and more about the adrenalin rush - things like Reno Air Racing...stuff like that. I hear this guy might be willing to hire out as a life coach for anyone planning a good crisis.

My mid life crisis was building my own RV-10. Well into it and now lusting for a Thunderbolt Lycoming IO 540.
Will a Go Fund Me Page help? With a kid in college and wants to be a doctor?
I know, Dad stuff. But I still have a plan!

Doug you need to make a trip to my home. The entire basement is an airplane factory, lots of stuff going on. Joe and William toured it.
Would love to share. Pics dont do justice.
I started building in 2005 and am done with the empanage(tail), both wings, including the fuel tanks, and most of the fuselage. Starting on the fiberglass canopy to fit it to the fuselage. Lots of work.

Yep, the control surfaces are all separately made and stored, along with the wings on either side, which slide into a center piece of the spar which is part of the fuselage. Final assembly and tweaking at the airport in a hangar. With an "a"
Lycoming is what I fly behind now, and the best.

The heritage flight. Very emotional flight.
