Here's his video. Give him a couple minutes to warm up the tires

I'm sure he would not notice if you took his "pampered garage queen" to the track.

He may wonder why his brakes & tires wore out so quickly other than that

Yeah, the two of us are very similar in some regards, very different in others - driving/riding being one of them.

I don't think that car has ever turned over 3k with him driving it. It's a fawking sportscar and he marvels about the FUEL MILEAGE
Not that fuel mileage should not be a strong consideration when purchasing a sportscar, it is actually criteria #346 for me when I'm evaluating a sportscar myself.

Looking at the video the dash cam has a timer, I was very consistent the 3 laps filmed were all 1 minute 42 seconds.
The track is 2.0 miles long, how do I figure out the average

                  Google... https://www.countcalculate.com/cars-.../average-speed

                  70 mph or thereabouts.

I just now realized that you pointed to a website calculator. The math boob in me did it the old fashion way... 2.0 / (102 seconds / 3600 seconds per hour). Yes, I like numbers and this one was easy.

Bill, 1:42 at Summit seems pretty respectable for a street car to me. My track day laps out there on an S1000RR, when I'm unhindered by traffic, are just a bit over 1:30. I just shake my head at the CCS racers looping in the 1;15s. They'd be lapping me every 6 laps if I was foolish enough to race against them. I wish I could say my times are out of an abundance of caution and not wanting to be on a first name basis with an orthopedic surgeon but I know in my heart that I've lost all the zip off my fastball.
