Is that in the "upper" wing? (Or should that be "the uppity wing?")

FYI ..... The Ozone Burger Barn has reopened. It's now ran by the grumpy guy from the Catalpa Cafe in Oark, cleverly renamed "Grumpy's Burger Barn".

p.s. I wouldn't recommend opening their website. Window's security didn't like it. The link above is safe, It's just Google Maps.

Funny, that all the times we've ridden these roads, we've never stopped there to eat. It's either been closed, raining, or we were on a mission elsewhere.

With being a rural area I'm surprised there's already a updated Google Street view.

I'm pretty sure the hippie-like managers at the site might be gone. I got a nice call from the Marion-Carlton yesterday inquiring whether I wanted to confirm my reservations. Of course, I did. So, Cathy and Tyson are confirmed "in" for room 115 Monday through Thursday nights starting October 6th. The person I talked to definitely did not have an Arkansas accent.

Tyson, with a little Lilac you might sleep better in room 115

Just for future reference, I have been experimenting. If your preferences are not lilac, I also carry lavender, vanilla, rose & tuberose, and pear & raspberry. For the adventuresome, I can also incorporate diesel, AVgas, JP8 and spent nitromethane. The latter leaves a headache at this time so I do not recommend...

Looks like they have a couple cabins done now

I'm curious about where they put the cabins. On site? I bet they are pricey.

Last updated heard at SGR, Bill and some others were going to reserve one of the cabins. Mike Knox was going to get Bill's former room ensuring that Mike now has a room for the entire stay.

You and Deb should get one like you used to in Jasper. That way if it rains we can have a big racous party in your room!

Joe told me the big party was in room 115 this year
I saw 2 reviews for the cabins.
One had to guess which cabin was theirs because they were not numbered. One had to wait 2.5 hours as the office person did not know how to get in

One month to go till Yellville. Like usual, I'm running out of rear tire at the wrong time. I wonder if Matt as any used ones he'd let go of?

I'm sure you two won't dream up any trouble. Thank goodness. I'll bring bail money just in case Arkansas has not yet instituted "cashless bail."

Oh and we did get to Winston-Salem game this year in August. Nice stadium, one of the best hot dogs I've had at a ball game.

I can identify as Tyler, or Ty, it's all good. BUT, If there is even a 2026 SGR Lite, I plan on being there. I've never been in the Appalachians before.
