Cathy and Tyson are excited but not yet packed. Weather looks perfect except for a chance of rain on Monday afternoon. Rest of the week is dry. Another great year?

Looking at the weather forecast (for what it's worth), and it is still looking great. They use those "weasel words" about "passing showers" and "maybe afternoon showers" referring to Monday. But the rest looks dry No foilage this year, I bet.

We're in Eureka Springs in the car which was the plan but it was not a easy day because 100 miles from home the tire warning came on.
I lost my earlier long post when the wifi shut off, so you get the short version.
No tire repair shops open on Sunday and 4 Walmarts had too many ahead of us.
After buying a pump to keep the tire up we found a Walmart that could get us in.
Friendly and good staff.
They did not find anything in the tire. The valve stem was split.
Even though they removed the tire from the rim and put on a new stem they did not charge us.
A couple days ago I tought I should carry a pump now that we use the cars for trips.
When we return home I'll buy a pump for the other car.Last edited by Lee; 10-05-2025, 09:44 PM.Lee

Home, safe and sound. GREAT AHR. Best weather EVER. The "A" Team all showed up. Missing a couple of B+ guys
, but all in all it was a great turnout. The food at the Mexican place was real average, so BMJ and Dale fixedTHAT! Thanks to all for a fun time, even Mike Knox who added excitement and to whom I owe some money.

That was a fun week! I left out Thursday, planning to take three 300 mile days instead of two 450 mile days to get to NC. Well, that didn't pan out once I got rolling. I got here Friday afternoon, but yesterday's ride included the best part of US 58 in VA, from Damascus to Volney, over Mount Rogers..
It was great to see the Texans and the Sooners, especially my bud Curt "McFly" Presson.
Gotta do this again!I’d rather think someone’s a son of a bitch than to have him think I’m a son of a bitch.
