Thanks, Bears. Mike's Bronze Star has a "V" for valor. They don't pass those out like candy to enlisted men.

You are quick, Bears! I'm still trying to learn how to post a simple photo!

Old cemetery on hwy 39 just south of Mt Vernon, MO.
Most of the stones did not have markings or were too worn to read
This one got a new stone

        We're in Clinton, MO.
After stopping at KC BMW dealer to pick up Deb's plate from her RS they sold, we'll arrive home this afternoon.

We hung out for about an hour visiting with Peter the salesman and Becky the fiance person.
I also got to visit with the service manager last week at our motel in Eureka Springs when I walked out of our room and Ed was cleaning his R1250RT.
Peter told me, Ed's RT had to be hauled back to Kansas City that day because of a problem.

We made it home today. The temperature was more than 30 degrees colder than yesterday.
Got home in time to mow the yard.

I bet that's the last time you mow this year. I have at least another month! Ugh.

This trip started out like all of the rest. We had great weather and a great turnout. Bill and Dale fed us, and thank y'all for that. Anyone reading this far into the AHR 2026 thread knows it was a tragic time as we lost a dear friend. Mike loved our get togethers. Our thoughts on posting pics this year have been all over the place but not posting makes it seem like we weren't present. We love and miss you, Mike.

This started as a general store in 1840. Now it's been recycled as a doctor's office.

First night out was in the 19th century at the Hearne Inn in Cave Spring GA. This is on the Southeast BDR as well.

Across from the inn are the springs for which the town is named. I managed not to fall in.

Rush AR ghost town. In the early 1900's approximately 5000 people lived here mining zinc.
