I heard that a group is gonna be gatherin' at VIR in early September to beat the VA speeding laws to death... I'll double that 80 mph, but it STILL won't be reckless

Sure Joe, but the max fine and what one would normally get can be much different, unless you get a judge having a bad day or he doesn't like the way you look. I'd agree with what the law firm said, you get a reckless driving consult a lawyer to see if you can get it reduced. Preferably a lawyer who plays golf with the judge and lets him win.

Getting in my countdown mode now. Not much to do to get the Mighty K ready for the trip. Gonna do a brake bleed & I still have plenty of tread left after the Hillbilly last October. I've only been on the K bike a few times since then 'cause I've been riding the GS.
