Why does DGR always appear to be a sleeper? Slow for reservations and not much chatter about anything. There's the parking lot social hour stuff. This year has the trackway event, haven't seen that happen anywhere else. Possibly end of the season blues? DGR seems to be a gathering for Nomads.

Hey All,

I received a call from the owner at Maggie Valley Creekside Lodge. She is getting pressured because we have a block of rooms reserved and only 5 of them have been reserved for this rally. She has stated that she will start selling our rooms if there is no movement. This is a very busy weekend for them and she does not want to miss out on business and I don't blame her one bit. So, if you are on the fence about going, reserve your room now. If you are procrastinating thinking rooms will be available later, they won't be. Get on it!

I will call her back today and ask that she hold as many as she can for as long as she can, but that I don't blame her for reserving the rooms. I will also ask her to hold them until next Monday if possible.
