Pete, YOU ROCK! Hell, you've always rocked, but when I saw Dorian brought into the conversation, I was expecting it to say that you were bowing out. What better way to survive the storm than to join some hooligans in Maggie Valley! And yes, drag JohnO along with you.

Bill, John (Bill's tag-a-long), MattB and I will be at the hotel sometime Wednesday. That's all I know for sure right now. Add you and John and the party has started!

DGR 2009, one of the best riding days ever! We left in the dry knowing a solid green line was fast approaching from the northwest. We made it halfway around the Deal's Gap to Tellico loop before the bottom dropped out. The folks at the Tellico Grains bakery were so nice. They let us lay our soaking wet gear on the floor while they cooked up some pizza for us. This was rainfall in the 1 to 2 inch per hour range.

Track days be great but if you really want to learn useful street throttle and braking skills do the Cherohala in a downpour!

    The next day. Beautiful !!
