The ABS going ape chit made us hungry for some Ho-Made pie. We mentioned the hail storm to our waiter who then called his wife. She said a truck had flipped over and the pass was closed. We had traffic at the crest but nothing behind us as we descended. We were the only vehicle to make it over the pass before the accident. Woooooo.....

Have you ever been behind a Pilot Car and stopped for gas as they kept going? When we rejoined the highway there was no pilot car. They were soon on-coming in our lane. No pics but it is on video. This was not the first time I have ever been addressed as "you people". Woooooo.....

In Ellijay GA, a couple of traffic laws were broken (or ignored) in this roundabout, but we got our parking spot. The food was awesome!

We almost forgot about seeing the tree that had caught on fire due to a thunderstorm. We were on Utah Hwy 14 east of Cedar City.
Then there was the 3 a.m. fire alarm at the hotel in Bemidji, MN. No pix of either event but it really happened.

        SGR 2025

Once again this year, we'll be celebrating SGR, for the 18th consecutive year. Base camp will again be the Timberline Lodge, 890 Highway 4, Arnold, CA 95223, 209-795-1053. We will be checking in on Monday, September 3rd, and checking out on Sunday, September 7th (your choice).

When making a reservation, please mention that you are with the BMW motorcycle group that was there last year following Labor Day weekend. We had a great turn out last year and all are welcome. We hope to see you there!
