With the cam shift bump in both hp and tq the new GS might be worth a test ride. Besides I really like this color scheme.

Someone posted this link to a comparison of the 1200 and 1250 on another site,
makes me think about wanting one.

While interesting, I think I am satisfied enough with the GSA the way it currently sits. While I want more power, and I want higher top end, I want that in a package that is designed to maximize those benefits. The current GSA has plenty of speed and torque for it's intended purposes and I have pushed both. I really don't think going over 130mph on this bike is that intriguing.
Now, if I was looking to buy a new bike I would probably get the 1250 GSA unless the deal on the 1200 was too good to pass up. But I won't be seeking to trade mine in.

Of course, HP and torque are always nice to have on hand, but is it really needed. With the older, pre LC motors I'd say it was critical. With the LC motor it isn't so bad although I'd take it if offered. But I wouldn't trade the bike in for the extra HP/torque. To this day my only real complaint with the GSA is the ability to pass cars like the K bikes could.

BTW, here's why we have a 2018 and not a 2019. I didn't want a heavier bike, even if its only 10 pounds. Another 11hp might be nice but 125 works just fine 2-up (We had a 2015 prior to our current 2018.) I also like the simplicity of the current valve train. Add in some substantial discounts (many $$$$ ) and we are very happy with the choice we made.
