I have never had a professional "bike fit." I'm sure that I'm throwing away some power by not optimizing my fit, but I just am not good enough to see much difference. As to comfort, I must not be very particular either. I ride several different bikes I own, as well as some bikes friends have. The one area I notice most, is that in the past 10 years, the angle my head needs to rise to to see far forward, is an issue. I don't like fighting myself to keep looking up. It hurts my neck.
As to seats and angles that they may sit at, I really don't care too much so long as it is slightly downward. I make sure my "sit bones" have an adequate area on which to rest, especially on the back half of the saddle.
Like you Bears, my general position is much as i was in 1968!

https://www.bicyclerollingresistance...eless-vs-tubesUsing latex inner tubes in tubeless tires is nearly as fast as setting them up tubeless. The most significant performance penalties are the higher weight of the inner tube and the loss of the re-sealing in case of a puncture that tubeless sealant in tubeless tires offers.

We went to the High Trestle Bridge Trail yesterday so Debbie could try out her new E Bike.
They added a new extension to the trail and it now goes between Perry and Ankeny Iowa.

This trail now connects to the 89 mile Racoon River Valley Trail.

Both trails are paved Rails to Trails.
Debbie bought a Specialized Turbo Vado SL 4.0

For a year or more we have been looking for a E Bike for her that did not weigh 50 or 60 pounds and had a decent range.
This one weighs 34 pounds and is about 5 pound heavier than her Trek hybrid.
When I rode it without any assist turned on it felt very similar to my hybrid.
She wanted something easy to pedal if the battery ran out.
The first half of the ride she used the lowest assist, but then the wind started and we had a 20 mph headwind to return to the car.
She changed to the highest level assist level and I was having a hard time keeping up. I was on my hybrid and wishing I had my road bike so I could tuck down some.

One thing we liked about the Turbo Vado SL 4.0, it did not come with fenders and rack. A lot of the E Bikes we looked at had fenders and rack. Most cases the rack used the fenders for support.
2016 when I bought my carbon fiber frame bike I switched to a Sarris rack the clamps to the tires instead of the frame.
If a person wants fenders you can buy a Turbo Vado SL 4.0 EQ. $500 more for the fenders and rack.

Why Weight Training For Cyclists....- Maintenance, to prevent the atrophy of muscles as we age.
- Strength, the capacity to lift a very heavy load once or twice.
- Endurance, the capacity to exert less strength but multiple times.
- Hypertrophy, to increase muscle size.
- Bone strength, to prevent loss of bone mass.
