Finally got around to installing the MAM handguards today. Then i found that the techmount radar detector mount needed a place on the handlebar. Turns out, the upper half of the techmount thet goes around the handlebar is a perfect replacement for the upper half of the mam handlebar clamp. Same screws even. !!!

It's in the 40's here today, so didn't mess with the bike at all. Instead, did the retract tests, and about half of the annual for the Comanche today!.. Finally, starting the last laps before N-10SG is legal (and safe) again. Sweet.

Man, I love your ride reports, Bill. I especially like it that you ride whenever you get a chance. That seems pretty often lately.

Bill, sometimes when I carry a bag like that, I place a square of the rubberized shelf liner between the seat and the bag. Helps keep it put and also not mar the seat. No more sliding.

Deb is most likely shamed by this picture.

Lee probably doesn't let Deb look at his posts just for that reason, Joe.

Did you post a picture? I see a big blank area.
I closed and reopened the browser, plus did a refresh.

No picture in Mani's post. I'm not sure if he tried to post one, but there isn't anything there.

Its just too cold. I need to pull it out in the open to get a decent pic. I will when it warms up a tad.

I took the clutch cap off of the S to see what color the fluid was because someone 100 miles away was curious.

That's exactly what I've done, Doug... it's the only way to work on my bikes during winter at 6400' elevation!

I didn't really do anything to my bike, but I did ride the LeMans over to the local BMW shop for my state inspection. This is a service they perform for free & in Texas, you have to have your car or bike inspected before you can get your annual state registration. It was fun being on the Goose too since I haven't been out on it in quite a while. Didn't get much of a ride in since the shop is only about 5 miles from my house, but it was a nice day to be out, even for a short while. Was able to dust off the cobwebs & scat around a bit before I had to get back to work.

I put two new shear pins on the snowblower yesterday, does that count?
