Probably do an oil change on the K on Friday. Still waiting on my title and registration to get back for the Triumph.

Started up Brutus and did the driveway, we had 4 inches of snow last night ...I did give a glance at the GSHey when I parked Brutus when done.

As promised, rode to work. Came home for lunch so I could ride. Then I rode home after work only to realize when I got home that I had left my phone in my office, so rode back to get it. Nice day, overall. Rinse repeat tomorrow.

Did an oil change today on the bike. My wife changed the oil in my truck. Had an instructional session with my daughter on how to change the oil in her car. Change is good.

Teaching your daughter to do basic car maintenance including tire changes and oil and filter changes brings a lot to their independence and not rely on jerks. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah Mani I think it helps that she sees her Mom doing it too.

I did that for my daughters.... the younger started dating a kid that wanted to mechanic, so he
took over the duties. The other daughter bartered doing his taxes and other things for him.

Good choice. Soft bags are more forgiving when traveling off road.

2 days ago I replaced my leaky left fork seal.
Today I washed & waxed the wife's car with Turtle Wax's new Graphene flex wax. Then I pushed the bike out & power washed the garage...the bike was there the power washer was to soo I washed it.
As if power washing wasn't enough I used a bucket & rag and really cleaned it then went over it with the flex wax. https://www.turtlewax.com/products/h...x-wax-23-fl-oz
                Looks brand new

So I had a challenging weekend.
Locals had planned a Sunday off road ride so I was in.
So I got my Husky out on Saturday, and it would not start. Nope. Has a new battery, the EFI is powering up and cranking, but NO!
Called up the local BMW/Husky shop, they could not pick it up, so I loaded it up in the Sprinter and took it to them. The bike will not communicate with the KTM computer at all. Stumped. They will call KTM on Tuesday for advise.
So I get back home and pull out my DR650 and this has not run in years, so got it a new battery, and it started after a few coughing spells. Great. Thought I will just change oil and get going. Well, since I bought in 2015, no oil change as it just sat in my hangar. Had bought it from a gent in GA with 4K miles on it. Original tires, bald. Anyway, loosened the drain bolt, but had to use a ratchet to keep loosening it. Right there I knew he had cross threaded it. SHit! So I get it out, and I had 2 oil filters that I had for a long time, but now missing. So I go all the way across town to a friend who had spares (on the GSA) and got it. They ride DRs. Interestingly, he had an extra Sargent low seat for it that he gave me gratis. .
Long story short, was able to carefully thread the drain bolt back in but leaking. So I slightly overfilled the oil and went riding anyway, on a bike that was leaking oil, bald tires which are form 2011.
Had a blast, the trails were muddy and slippery as hell, the DR ruled.
Got to take in on Tuesday to get a helicoil or something done to the drain.
Overall, a great weekend. I was so focused on the bikes and ride, so relaxed now.

Nice job, Mani. Dealing with adversity is always easier if you've got a spare bike! But, really, i love the way you just stayed after it until you ended up with a great weekend.

Like your determination.... I would've said screw it and raked the lawn or something.
I had a '93 Saab 900 Turbo a few years ago, it had an oil leak or three. I asked the
mechanic about it and he replied, "When it stops leaking, then you should worry."

I put a new set of tires on the GS, then changed the oil, oil filter, trans & final drive oil.

Ready to hit the road for Terlingua.

                  The DR again.
Got my Acerbis 5.3g tank installed along with some other issues. The Suzi dealer was able to overbore the drain plug tread it and install a drain plug. !!!
Tomorrow the bash plate and case armor will go on. Maybe a rear tire and HD tube. Stinko 244s.
