are those new tires the new Roadsmart IVs or still the IIIs?
I went with the IIIs because they were only $170 a set after rebate.

$170/set after rebate? How about some details?

You need to buy from a Dunlop Pro dealer. I'll try to find a list.
You can't use the rebate for online purchase.
          $20 for one tire
          $40 for 2 tires
$60 if you have any type of service when you buy the tires, like mount and balance. You can carry the wheels in.
The current rebate ran out the end of November but they have several rebates during the year. They'll probably have the same rebate in the spring.

I did the rebate thing about two years ago and it took 4 to 5 weeks to receive the rebate.

Early Nov when I checked the tire prices Revzilla had the IIIs for approx $250 a set for the 180 size.

Dealer locator and rebate info. Scroll down to see if there's a current rebate.

Here its in the winter mode. You can take that extension off as well as the piece in the center in summer for cool air. You will still have the two beefy alu bars across for excellent protection. It is robust. I kinda paint matched it to the rest of the bike. Did not like the grey. On today's ride, the grip heaters were awesome even on low.

              Well, I decided to downsize.
Got me an inReach Mini for the BF deals, not that it was any major $ off. I figured it would fit in my Klim jacket better. I had the Delorme inReach Explorer.
I like the form factor, miss the color screen, but am gonna wing it and see how it works.
I do not turn it on (the old one) for a ride, but its always been there with me for every ride and flight in my airplane, so have the max battery power when shit hits the fan.
The Mini is less than half the big one, but thats prolly what I will need.
              Will keep all posted.
IMHO yall all need to sport one.
My Explorer may come on sale.

Shot clear coat today. The 'ole Sata can still lay it down like glass.

Wait 2 or 3 days to cure, wet sand it with 800.... then hit it with 2 "flow coats".

Got a late Christmas present today from Pazzo Racing. I'll install them once the weather warms up a bit. Our S currently has some Chinese rip-offs from Amazon but I got what I paid for, they faded. These won't. I had Pazzo's on our 2007 and loved them. Plus they threw in a few goodies as well. Happy customer.
