Oklahoma has basically been "mask free" since the spring of 2020 when we "flattened the curve" as recommended by "science" and the CDC. We have pockets of liberalism in university cities and in wealthy suburban areas where masks are still seen even today. But, for the most part, we've been free of this stuff for a long time.

Claim: If you get vaccinated after having had Covid, you're at greater risk of harmful side effects

One of Mr Rogan's most controversial guests has been the virologist Robert Malone.

Mr Malone was banned from Twitter in December last year for violating its Covid misinformation policies. He appeared on Mr Rogan's podcast shortly afterwards.

Among the misleading claims made in this podcast episode was one suggesting people who are vaccinated after having Covid-19 are at greater risk of adverse side effects.

Following his appearance, more than 270 doctors and healthcare professionals signed a letter to Spotify, calling for Covid misinformation to be addressed.

Robust studies so far have shown that a very small number of conditions - blood clots, heart inflammation - are slightly more likely after certain vaccines, although are still very rare.

In one UK study, researchers found that vaccine after effects were more common in those who already had Covid.

However, this study only looked at mild after effects, such as fatigue, chills and headaches.

I'm not sure what to make of the BCC report.

I know two widows that told me similar stories about their husbands
getting sick and the doctors couldn't do anything for them because
their immune systems shut down. Both said that they died within a
couple months of getting sick. Before that they never were sick.

Oh, forgot to mention..... these were 4 and five years ago.

Genotyping may help prevent this in the future. Performed in the neonatal period along with blood typing, etc., so it's known throughout a person's lifespan. Analysis of the immune response genes could determine risk factors for types of vaccination, allergies, etc. Refined specificity of vaccines with less cross reactivity is another goal. We're only at the doorstep now.

I got two Modena shots (vaccines) to do my part to "flatten the curve," (And to get my adult daughter to shut the hell up.) But I am NEVER getting a booster, or again getting a vaccine for something as non-fatal statistically as this covid thing. If it were polio, or small pox, I'd go with an unproven vaccine. Fortunately for those diseases, the vaccines were truly effective at something like the 98-99% level.
