As for the new to you Road King, it's a pretty one & one of the HD models I like over most others, that & the Heritage Classic. #67.3Editing a commentSince we couldn't seem to figure out a destination & time frame for an alternative ride for this year's THCR, the matter was taken to committee. Since I've never been to the BRPR, I figured WTF? So I contacted mi amigo & other half of the Dynamic Duo, Gary (TexasTwister), and he was game, so we're gonna make the trek together. To start the wheels turning, room # 19 has been reserved, although I'm a little miffed that the Watsull requested fingerprints & a background check when they learned I was from Texas! Sup wit dat? Oh yeah, the other half of our gang, Steve & Tim, are gonna make the scene too. The Watsull will never know what hit 'em.
As for Joe's shine comment, I remain convinced whoever handed me that jar let go before I had a good grip on it. Plus, having all that shine slosh all over the jar made it slippery. I will admit though, I could've displayed better manners once that jar hit the ground... diving to the floor and slurping up the shine spillage before too much of it could soak into the carpet, was not terribly dignified but at the same time, I don't think I surprised anyone either. As it turned out & in the end, it was in keeping with the low-end standards of behavior established early on at the KHCR that year.Last edited by McFly; 03-26-2019, 08:48 AM. -
That's freakin' awesome! Will be a BRPR to remember. And the Wattstull won't care what hit them. Weird shit happens there sometimes and they roll with it. Although Lee's not coming this year, curiously he seems to be in the middle of the weird shit there more often than not. I remember having to dodge spent fireworks there one year to leave. -
Come to think of it, Lee usually has some involvement with pranks & weirdness at these rallies. Once it gets going & things start going downhill, you look around & he's mysteriously disappeared... like the Phantom Prankster! He's like my kid brother who started all the hijinks but I was the one who got in trouble for it!
