      Who washes a GSA? Weird.

I put a route together that has me on roughly 30 miles of dirt roads for the trip. I did not wash the bike.

Home safe and sound at 1pm. Good times! Thank you, Wes, for setting this up, and Bill and Dale for feeding us! Best hooligans ever!

Beth and I got home this morning around eleven. The temps were kind of cool compared to the 95 degrees we saw Thursday on the way to the rally . All the critters at home are in good shape and in the enclosures they're supposed to be in, so that's all we can ask for.
The rally was great. I heard we had 19 bikes there, so probably around 25 people total. It was good to see everyone, after a long break since Arkansas last October. Especially good to see Brian and Polly Smith, our original hosts for the first several BRPRs in the early 2000's. And thanks to Bill and Dale for cooking for us both Friday and Saturday nights. Very generous!

Polly and I were heading up rt81 to Joe's(youngest son) house in Staunton this morning. John A. passed us in his car.

We enjoyed to no end, seeing everyone at the rally. Great fun.

We got home yesterday about 1. For some reason the ride home is always a grind but great to see everyone and a good turnout. Thanks to everyone who came and of course to Bill and Dale for all they did.

BRPR2022. Susan counted 19 bikes plus 7 people for a total of 26 attendees. BRPR has been comprised of mostly GS's the last several years but there were a few exceptions, most notably Bill's Streetfighter, Steve's RR and Jargon's M. We took our go-fast out for a 4 1/2 mile dirt jog Saturday. "This way" said the GPS.

The road followed a river and stayed flat, otherwise we would have bailed on this one. We were headed to the Swinging Bridge restaurant in Paint Bank. It's similar to Oark in that it is in the middle of nowhere with fantastic roads in and out, plus it has excellent food.

Flashback, this was BRPR 2002. Although you can't see them in this pic, there were tents set up along the back for attendees who were camping out. Polly is a saint!

I had one of those tents. Great Rally! Ditto on Polly.
