I haven't been on the bike in quite a while so I went out today to give it the once-over. Right from the jump - dead key FOB wouldn't allow me to start it. Battery changed in the FOB, wiped off the dust, and found and packed up all my bike's stuff (tools, consumables, etc). See you guys on Thursday.

I'd originally planned to be there this afternoon until my wife put a dinner party on the schedule tonight.

            Here's one:

Bill G had a pretty great itinerary of roads and routes for us. The hotel was OK and it was a target rich environment for a twisty road safari. As many times as I've been out in the wilds of WV, Bill was still able to show us some great roads I'd never ridden.

Looks like there has been great riding weather. Thanks for the pic.

It was perfectly cool riding weather. High 50's to low 70s.

I saw a lot dead ones and two crossed my path. May have them on video.

I like Watkins Glen. The Colonial Inn and Creamery is owned by a motorcyclists that gave me all the free beer I could drink with my pizza. He sat with us and heard his life story.

And that is one of the best reasons to travel by motorcycle. Meeting people and hearing their stories.

Agree with Lee, I didn't replace the gaskets on my 15 & no leaks after 75,000 miles & many valve checks. Plus there're ridiculously expensive ?

Mike if the plastic cover you mention is the spark plug cover, the leak is probably the donut gasket around the plug and coil.

              My ride home,
I didn't stop much. Rain on and off the first day. Very nice today.
              > Eric, I did that rode that you liked in PA, it starts around the 1:24 mark (the counter counts down in Relive).

If you scroll down you can see pictures and a map. I did a pretty good angle to home, about 700 miles.
Discovered that the DVR card had popped out or that I had never pushed it all the way in, so now videos for
              the whole week.

                That's why I don't follow y'all at rallies. I get scared over 500 mph.

I had a blast riding and meeting up with y'all.
Here is one of the only pictures I took.
