Bears, I have had the nose of my saddle pointing down at least 5-10% for 45 years. Works for me. Easy on my "personal equipment."

Doing the same on my bikes now after reading your previous post. GCN should interview you!

Tadej Pogacar tilts his now about 8-10%, especially on mountain stages.

A pic from this summer of a road I was riding last week on a warm, sunny day. It goes through a huge shallow valley, where most of the way you can only see sky and fields with nothing else on the horizon.

Great movie. We have a movie night about once a year for newbies. Even kids born since the mid-90's like this movie.

Personally, I like the dad's rant on Italian food. (pronounced EYE-talian)

Presta Valves: Towards a More Accurate Air Pressure

The trick is to only slightly open the valve stem core, just enough to allow some air to escape when the core is depressed. That way, when the pump nozzle is removed, less air escapes from the tire.

I had been loosening the core all the way and that allowed a fair amount of air to escape as the nozzle was pulled off.

Our local bikeshop needs to see this!

Wildbears, have you ridden any since you've lowered the nose of your saddle? I'm curious as to your subjective experiences since lowering it.

When I was in Amsterdam, the number of cyclist was incredible. I didn't get a chance to ride, but was tempted to rent a bike. The bike lanes with dedicated traffic signals looked so inviting. Lots of attractive women riding to and from work made it even more inviting.

I have ridden in Switzerland. Their bike paths and trails are typially Swiss . . . well designed, well maintained, and understated. Very nice.

I spent 1 hour and 35 minutes on the Merckx indoors today. Yuck. I'm a LAZY DAMNED indoor trainer!

There are a ton of ride-along videos available on YouTube these days. But then we don't have cable

A LBS is raffling off a high end bike to its spinning class participants. You get a free ticket if you can beat the leader in one of the sessions.
