Picked up my bike yesteday from the dealer. New driveshaft installed. I had an alert for the spting strut adjustmen faulty (4th time). The fault went away when I switched from dynamic to road springs, but the dealer said that the fault was not stored in the bike computer. I didn't thinik that faults cleared the computer without dealer assistance. Regardless, today is another ride day.

Changed out the engine oil and final drive oil for a 12,000 mile service. Rode around a bit. Recently got back from a Hog Ridin' Fools ride to Republic.

Scrub it down paste waxed the painted parts spray waxed the wheels & other parts.
          Added a carbon fiber beak.
My wife was kind enough to buy me this tire dressing to use on HER new car

It's water based so I thought I'd try it on the plastic parts, looks great. Even with spray wax on the wheels they still looked dull so what the hell I'll try it on the wheels...WOW

Nice , but a carbon fibre exhaust would look great on that bike ... ( you know you want one :-) )

            > MikeW, You can have some for about $300 US from the dealer.

changed the oil and filter to prepare for a ride to the Deals Gap next week. New rear tire delivered. It's always good to have a spare set of tires in the garage.

And yes, that exhaust is an "early" K12 end can cover. Burns stainless steel tube, custom 1 into 2.

Once it's on the road,maybe... just maybe gonna fab up a new rear exhaust section... MV'ish?

                Scott Hennen(sp) had/has a cpl 750's.

Interestingly, and I remember the "conversation" in bike circles; the factory exhaust would always produce a touch more HP than the then, current so called high performance $$$ pipes.

Yeh, Pirate had one. Talked to him about buying it years ago but no joy. He said "so long" to the MV long ago. Just emailed him the other day and he ha sold the white KS as well. Many of us are saying fare well to our riding days, it appears. Bummer that bods don't still love riding.

The 636 race bodywork,fr fender is black. Didn't paint it yet...gonna get the 354 lowers on and then decide whether to leave it black,or go with the silver?

I converted the blinkers to running lights using a Blinker Genie (NC relay) pair from CustomLED. Stumbled across them cleaning out the toolbox and went to town. They are now always on and turn off to flash. Can't recommend this, the wiring was not fun.

That's pretty neat Mike. But, it's way beyond my abilities (or inclinations) to do.

Final service completed! Dunlop RS4s and final drive oil change. The K hangs nicely from the car lift. All fluids now changed and Innovv N1 installed with Carplay and rear view. The phone remains for the radar display using a Radenso DS1 with the Companion app all tested and working great with audio through the Cardo. Music plays with Nav and Radenso warnings coming through as needed.

As Susan mentioned, mother nature took out our utility trailer and the winds aren't even here yet. Not sure if the Baxley chock survived. Tree service is headed out to clear a path so we can get out of the garage but they won't be clearing out the trailer area. They're kinda busy for the next few days. Sucks, but at least these tress missed the house, and us.

Glad it missed the house. I'm working up about twenty pines we took down a few weeks ago. They were scrub pines and some had blown over. I'm chipping what I can get in my 6" chipper on the tractor and trailering the rest down the road to a neighbor with an outdoor boiler.

Wow, I hope the damage hasn't gotten any worse, Tim!

Working on putting farkles back on the 2024 GSHey (still need to put on the risers, tank cover and lens covers for head&Fog lights). Re-installing the Hex EZcan was a breeze, pigtail labeled RDC was in plain view under pillion seat. The Lights package certainly is an added bonus on making sure I am seen on the road only thing missing is a Frikin shark with a laser beam. The projection on the ground is from the front blinkers.
