These babies should last a good while!

Changed the spark plugs on my GS. 40k miles. Plugs are easy. The engine guards are a pain in the neck. I think I gained 20 hp.

I'm with Bill. Lee. This is ridiculous. There's lots of good riding weather even in the winters of Creston, Iowa. If you can ride a bicycle out in it, you can certainly ride a motorcycle in it. Is it that you are afraid they might get dirty? LOL

One of the local dealers has a '22 with less than 6k miles for $12,995....
I had to really restrain myself.

Bought a special BMW tool for adding oil to the rear drive. Takes 180ml.

I got my panniers second hand and my ignition key, which shouldn't fit, will open one of them.

Cap rip, that one barrel probably does not have all inserts in place, most likely missing one or two.

i got a secondhand set once and my key opened both. 3 pins slots and 3 different pins.... cant be that many combinations.
The first lock on the set above turned both directions first go, but the second one needed some force to turn for the first time.

ten posts... do i get an award for that.... come on Joe.... wheres the incentives......

Ten posts nets you one free beer when Joe goes to Oz

Took the wife out for a 150 mile ride then replaced the rear tire front tomorrow.
11,000 miles & still a little left, Matt could have probably put another 1,000 on them.
Surprising it only took a 1/4 Oz to balance perfectly.

Trust me, Mat would have gotten more than 1000 miles out of those tires. Changing the out this early would never even cross his mind! LOL

Matt says that he'll never re-tire.

Just finished the front & it didn't need any weight to balance. They must have improved these tires the last set took a lot of weight to balance.

Bill, Does it come in a larger can? I'll take 2.

Put a plug in my rear tire. I ran over a piece of a nail a week ago and it had a slow leak. Also, replaced the rear brake pads. 42000 miles and they were still good, but why not?

Went for a 50 mile ride. The brakes worked and the tire held air. Amazing

New tires for the Jeep and the K1300S.

That's a beautiful bike. One of the most attractive that BMW has ever made. I was very close to buying one when I bought a K1600GT instead - which is what one does when all your friends at the time were riding Goldwings.
