Jim met us at the Crossroads of Time and rode with us on the Dragon, then down to Tellico Plains for lunch, then over the Cherohala . We stopped at the top of the Cherohala at 5,340’ and it was observed that my bike’s rear end drive was leaking. Jim led us to his house near Robbinsville, where he had the rear drive fluid to top off my bike. Jim’s wife Kim was home also and it was good to see her. With that fluid top off, Beth and I were able to make it back to rally central in Maggie Valley.
All this confirms the saying, it’s not what you know, it’s who you know. Thanks, Jim!
