I was referring to the time you took the red Multistrada up some place near Crested Butte at one of the RMRs, 2013, 14, 15 ish.

MattB and Sultan, time is getting shorter by the moment. I'm looking forward to VIR and of course the DGR following. See you there!

I'm on pre-vacation, vacation. That's the time whereby I'm so excited for vacation that I can't work because I'm preparing for vacation.

My pit bull rear spool stand comes in today, so I'll need to change tires. When it's up, I do a bit of other maintenance like the chain and finally, change the coolant to water.

On another note, I may have to change the rear stinko on the GSA for the rally. For your standards, it has another 3 or 4 thousand miles, but I was getting a bit of a slide on the Dragon yesterday.

I'll have to check but I think I replaced them 4000 miles ago. I'll put another Stinko on. They performed very well.

If I do change up, it will be to put knobbies on it. TKC80's or the 805's.

Very funny that you bring this up, I looked at the rear of my Multi the other day and it's "questionable". I hate to pull it now when it's still got some time on it, but it's a bit squared anyway from the PO. Not sure if I will change it or leave it. If I was riding it down/back there wouldn't be a question, but it only needs to last 3 days on the street down there...

Matt, so what is new? You always show up with the ply showing and end up riding like the devil on it.

One year we has sustained 40+ mph winds and a tree down on a live wire next door. I called Duke Power (oops, Energy) to report it. The Duke lady asked if we would be home for the next hour or so. "Nope, we're leaving on a motorcycle trip." So yes, we will be there.

I love Uncle Doug and MA!

I've tried every way I can think of short of entering the witness protection program to get away next week to attend but it's just not going to happen. You guys put together a great event with the VIR track day, the dual sport ride, and the hooligan days and all of that is in my wheelhouse. Damn it.

MattB, I know a guy in Murphy that would take great care of your bike if you decided you wanted tires while you're down there. RideWNC.com You buy the tires from RockyMountainATVMC and ship to him so you pay their discounted price for the tires. The tires show up next day at his garage. He mounts and computer balances for $20 a tire. Tell Mike that Wes sent you along and he'll offer you an orange crush to keep you cool while he swaps out your tires. Mike's done a lot of tires for just about all of my bikes.
