EMP offered that option to me too. But I decided to go with Wilbers. Very small shop.

I replaced my clutch micro switch, my bike wouldn't start in gear & I couldn't change driving modes. The clutch would still kill the cruise control.
107 bucks from Max's BMW, free shipping and a pack of M&M's what a deal

Thanks for the reminder. I had forgotten about the M&Ms.

Got the new top box mounted on the KLR...

@ Pete, when it warms up. This will be my local gravel bike I think.

@ EricM.... Yes, I had them replaced two years ago with the same
thickness but different design. They replaced the trim weather stips
and tracks too. Although the old doors were a little cracked they did
not seem that bad, I have noticed a big difference in the fuel used
to heat it. Well worth having your doors checked and adjusted if you
        condition the space !

Got a RMA from Revzilla and returned the SW-Motech Pro City Bag
and ring because it had become cracked on top after just one season.
Used the credit to order another brand. Revzilla does not carry SW
      bags anymore.

Rode my GS 220 miles to Morton's BMW in Fredericksburg, VA Wednesday (actually just went on a taco run) and saw a 2013 BMW GT in red, white, and bliue colors. Beautiful bike. If I already didn't have the best-looking BMW, that GT would be mine. If yoiu haven't seen it, K 1600 GT | BMW Motorrad (bmwmotorcycles.com)

              Gas station edition!

What did I do to my bike today? Flogged it a bit on the H.E. Bailey Turnpike on the ride home from Wichita Falls. No driving awards received!

I got my 24K mile service done today. I changed my own oil and probably saved $150. Ready for the BRPR.

I added some bling, spent the big bucks, $5.99 for a roll of carbon fiber wrap. Considering that I had no idea what I was doing it came out pretty good.
                once I got started I couldn't stop.

Looks good. Google Frame Panel Guard Protector Side Cover Fit For BMW R1200GS LC R1250 GS/Adventure. it's a plastic mold that covers the Y part of the frame where your boot hits. CHeap and easy fix so you dont scratch the paint on your frame.

The tank cover came today I put it on & in the garage light it looked good but in the sunlight it has a green tint.
Green doesn't go with triple black so I pulled it off, waste of money

Bagster tank I cover, they do make it all black. And are the risers ordered yet :-P

I got a new tank cover today, it was cheaper and it's Not Green

Waiting for the bar risers still?

Last weekend a weird thing happened on the bike, three times. When shifting from a stop I'd notice the bike acting strange between gears, like the brakes were on. They were. I haven't "ridden" the rear brake ever so this was weird. The only thing I could think of was that I am 45 pounds lighter and sitting slightly more forward than I used to. Today I replaced the really cool flip up brake pedal back to the stock and equally cool machined part. It sits higher and closer in so that should eliminate me getting my big feet on it.

This is how much higher and further in the stock brake pedal is.
