In the last few days, Roadsmart IV tires and oil change for RMR. Of course it rained on the way home from our dealer so the bike is also freshly washed and waxed.

The battery in my rear TPS was going bad & it was cutting in & out. I bought these on Ebay & replaced the rear (front next change).

I didn't have to do anything after about 2.5 miles it started working

I put the Mitas EOs back on for some dirt road foliage riding. While I was at it
I replaced the front sensor with one of these. Twenty five miles and several
cycles, it's still not recognizing it.

Hey Lee, I found out what that spot of brown water was on our front wheel! OK, if we do Kentucky then the Non-Invitational we will need a new tires for Arkansas. If we change into a "spare" set then put the current tires back on for Arkansas we will save the new set of Roadsmart 3s (in the utility room) for Texas next April. I decided to change tires for Kentucky. Good thing. Easiest tire change I've ever done, just one problem. When I put the front wheel onto the workbench brown water ran out from the spindle. Not good, but it explains the brown water spot on the front wheel in Gunnison. The front left bearing is shot. A little rough, a little slop side to side. I called our dealer, Eurosport Asheville, and they will have us fixed up in time for Kentucky. Great dealer!

At least now we know what 2 years of trips in torrential rain can do.

I always run 40psi in the front, a good friend of mine who has ridden way more than me suggested i do that many years ago, says the extra psi could save your rim. knock on wood i've been pretty lucky?
living in this shit hole state of illinois , some of the worst roads in the country. just my .02 worth.

We run 38/44. This was a HARD hit and it barely bent the rime, but bent is bent.

We rode to Eurosport BMW for the bike's annual state inspection via the Blue Ridge Parkway, saw a few young turkeys, some golfers and had an excellent lunch on the way home. Cheapest visit to our dealer this year.

Take a new GS that you had on Enduro mode all day but forgot that you recently reset it to Dynamic. Pull up to a paved road with a steep entrance. Take off quickly to beat oncoming traffic. That will do it.
