Removed rear wheel to change the tire tomorrow (for THCR and spring AHR). Removed front fender and removed calipers from rotors (hanging by bungee cord now). Waxed rear suspension. Waxed front fender inside and out. Cleaned rear shock as much as I could. Armor-all'd the oil reservoir. Prepped the workbench for the tire removal(s). Got balance stand down from the top shelf in the utility room. And stuff.

Lee and Tim are going to a different level than mere mortals can aspire to.

Tyson, you should meet Buddha (Pete Bartelli). Talk about attention to detail! The guy has mirrors in his garage under his 1963 Porsche!

Thats sick, Joe. But the first time I saw Buddah cleaning the inside of his front fender at The Mansion while Billy changed his tire...I knew he was "unusual". LOL!

More than you'll ever need to know about the flapper valve https://youtu.be/oKzuHv6dXeI?si=42SdNehhCRLIbHoR

1st ride with the flapper cables disconnected also the 1st ride in months with the wife on the back so I couldn't tell if it made any difference. The check engine light didn't come on
I have the cables stuck under the heat shield where they can move in & out freely, I'll probably remove them completely at some point.

Added another piece of carbon fiber today, with all the carbon fiber on the bike I must be up over 150 horse power & down at least 25lbs.

OK, thorough road test today....I like em
I've had aftermarket levers on most of my bikes, the main reason is ajustability, I like the clutch to grab closeer to the bar then the stock allow. 2nd is comfort, they just feel better in my hands.
With the shorty's my middle 2 fingers do most of the work 1st finger is there if I need it & my pinky sits on the ball end. Works for me.
Now Keith what is this Traffic thing you mentioned

I've put over 2,000 miles on the bike since disconnecting the cables from the flapper valve and the only thing I've noticed is improved fuel mileage, doesn't make sense but there it is. It's no louder nor do I feel any difference in power, just one less maintenance item to worry about.
I can't think of a reason that I'd reconnect the cables so yesterday I removed them completely but left the servo motor in place & plugged in doing it's thing. The ECU has no way of knowing the cables aren't there so there's no check engine light or codes set.
The cables seal the servo motor from water and dirt so I made a gasket for that.

Perfect weather today so I went for a ride & this happened
When I got home I drained the oil changed the filter removed the crash bars spark plugs and valve covers. Now I'm waiting for it to cool down before checking the clearances.
These crush washers fit perfectly, 20 should last me awhile
Edit: valves are all in spec ?

Red Loctite on the tiny set screw kicked my ass.
