The Speed Bleeders came today and I installed them....
Both of the wheels is still off of the bike because I'm waiting for
some black wheel weights from NoMar. It made it quite easy to
install the new bleeders that way. Hardly any fluid came out in
the process. A little squirt of brake cleaner took care of it. Don't
replace them with the reservoir covers off, more fluid may leak
    out (so they say).

There are three different bleeders for the GSA. In one of the YT
videos I watched he said that the front ones were the same. Be
sure to check Speed Bleeders chart for your specific model and
year. I got the bleeder bag and extra thread sealant for future
use. I would only buy them from Speed Bleeders site because I
read that there are some cheap knock offs on ebay that leaked.
There are stainless steel ones but I didn't see them for my bike.

I didn't have time to flush the fluid this evening and undecided if
I will try to use the GS911 and do a full flush of the ABS unit.

The Speed Bleeders have a thicker nut to get your wrench on.

The mud guard is missing also, sort of hit the tool box. Guess
I should've looked up the directions for the used box I bought
which states to remove it or lose it.

This is my speed bleeder, just put enough brake fluid in the bottle to cover the tube slide the other end over the bleeder open it & pump away. I've used it on my bike & car works perfectly & no mess.
also turn the ignition on hold the hand brake with one hand & spin the rear wheel with the other, you'll hear the ABS pump come on.
plastic bottles do better in shipping & 8 ozs is plenty for a complete flush

Bill, Does it matter what front caliper do you bleed from when doing the ABS?

Bill, it has to go to the dealer for the driveshaft check anyways and the may replace it.

They don't drop the FD to check the shaft, if it doesn't need replacing the splines will need lube.

Yes, it's behind there, but now knowing this I can see it from the left side above the starter. With some long needle nose pliers and some patience I bet you could get to it without removing all of that. I was following the written instructions.

The green and red wires are the TSA wires to the plug.
Looking from the left side above the starter.
        I followed the written directions.
Had I know this beforehand I bet I could've gotten it from
        the side.
It's farther back in there than it looks in the picture.
I found no directions on line for this, only had that ones
I printed from Triumph's site. Which are the same ones
        that the techs have.
I bet some craft flat rate tech have figured this out!

It was only 26 degrees Friday afternoon, so I I trailered Tiger 850 20 miles
to the dealer to have the shift assist that I'd installed programed.
Saturday afternoon it was raining so dug out the enclosed trailer, took the
'84 R100RS out of it and loaded the GSA in. I brought it twenty miles the
other direction to the BMW dealer for the driveshaft check and have the
drain installed. They'll look at it sometime next week.
I got to sit on the new R1300GS and talk to the owner's son who rode it
around the parking lot. He said the first thing he noticed was the that the
              transmission felt really smooth.

Since the R100RS was in the garage and the other two bikes were all set
for the season, I decided to show it some love. I bought it in 2017 (I think)
and replaced the tire, changed the fluids and had the Corbin seat recovered.
Due to both shoulders having three torn rotator cuffs I didn't ride it very
much and mothballed it in 2019. In December 2019 I had one shoulder
repaired. Both had three of four torn and retracted rotator cuffs. A matched
set as the surgeon said. Covid happened during my recovery, I couldn't do
much but watch the news and do PT. Four years later I still do my PT and
the non-repaired shoulder feels as well as the repaired one. So, I'll give the
RS another shot. If I like it I'll keep it, if not, I'll sell it.

This came in the mail yesterday:

I really like those old RS's, even though I never rode one.. I rode an R-90-S for a month and learned to appreciate it for what it was.

Picked up the '15 GSA w/32k miles on it this evening.
It failed the test and got a new driveshaft.
Got the duck bill drain installed too.

Installed Rox Risers, for me they're so I sit up a little straighter. I prefer a forward lean but my neck can't take being tipped back on a long ride. It sucks being the same age as Old people ?

Looks sharp. Leaning forward works better with a low windshield so the wind gives you some support.

under the bike (bracket for centerstand springs). Some blue Loctite and a few minutes later and all is well.

Is the centerstand an option on the KS bikes?

Mike, the centerstand was part of the MotorSport package. That bracket gets a jolt every time the centerstand is raised, and I use the centerstand 99.99% of the time. With 54,000 miles it just worked it's way loose. Blue Loctite should hold it another 54k.

Finished the service on the '84 R100RS yesterday and took it for a ride to
town and back. It was starting to sleet on the way back.
I'd drained the carbs and tank when I put it away back in 2019 and when
I put the bowls back on I pinched one gasket a bit. Had to make the 20
mile trip to the dealer to get a set. The floats and needle valve worked
fine by hand but one carb flooded. Took it apart and looked again, still
seemed fine. Put the bowl back on, turned on the fuel and it pissed fuel
our the carb again. Last resort was a tap on the side and it stopped.
                  Hasn't done it again.
It runs great but the throttle is hard on the wrist, I need to find my wrist
                  rest.
Now I need to detail it and decide if it goes or stays.

The float in one carb would stick from time to time on my 84. A tap on the bowl would usually unstick it.
My one boot would usually smell like gas.
